Looks like K2 will be around

Drew Rosenhaus appearing on the sprint network on YouTube
talked about Kellen missing the voluntary OTA practices and that he will be at the mandatory minicamp and training camp.

The bottom line with Kellen is he loves football more than getting more money in his pocket. He wants more money now because he knows his football life has been cut short, for that same reason he won't hold out because he appreciates still having the opportunity to play the game.

Travis Wilson might a have chance…

Romeo Crennel told the clevelandbrowns.com ePlaybook instant update the following:

"Travis Wilson is a guy that will have an opportunity to get a lot of reps in OTA's. Joe (Jurevicius) is working through a knee situation and Steve Sanders broke a bone in his foot, so that opens the door for Travis to get a lot more work. I talked to him about taking advantage of that opportunity. We'll see him maybe step up and be able to do more."

This might explain why they drafted Paul Hubbard, in case Travis Wilson doesn't look good in OTA's they have someone waiting in the wings. I would post the link but it's something that comes via email newsletter from the official Cleveland Browns website.

A Draft of depth for the Browns?

The picks are in and the Browns selected Beau Bell (LB 6-1 239 UNLV) and Martin Rucker (TE 6-5 248 Missouri) in the fourth round. In the 6th round they picked up Ahtyba Rubin (DT 6-2 315 Iowa State) and Paul Hubbard (WR 6-2 221 Wisconsin). In the 7th round they selected Alex Hall (DE 6-5 219 St. Augustine).

Most of the players selected will provided depth to a team starting to become loaded with talent. Beau Bell has the best chance to play the most this season. He first shot to play every Sunday will be on special teams, but he has very good chance to unseat Andra Davis in the inside linebacker rotation.

I will right a more detailed post on the other picks, one of which raised some eyebrows.
